Step into a special Christmas world beneath the Castle Ruins of Valkenburg. From 13 November to 30 December 2026, the centuries-old Velvet Cave will be transformed into an atmospheric Christmas market full of lights, Christmas decorations and charming stalls.

Wander through the historic marlstone passageways and discover more than 60 stalls featuring Christmas decorations, original gifts, handmade products and treats. There are also various activities for children, including a puzzle trail in the Elf Kingdom and a chance to meet the elves.
