Robotland Entrance Ticket

In this brand-new technology park, you will be introduced to the most innovative transport and robotics technologies of the moment. And all in an interactive way! Climb into the cockpit of a flight simulator, cycle across the Grand Canyon in VR, have a drone perform acrobatic stunts in the air, operate a compact loader or a grab crane yourself, or set a robotic arm in motion... In Robotland, it's your turn!

Interactivity and fun are central here. So be sure to admire and discover the technology behind the exhibits for yourself by following six thematic routes. The travel guide will provide you with the necessary information for each installation. Handy for making the most of your visit.

Some exhibits do require specific safety precautions, such as wearing a safety helmet or safety shoes. When necessary, these are provided at the exhibit.

Transport @ Robotland

Robotland has a spacious, free car park. Please park neatly side by side and make sure there is enough room for everyone. Be sure to check if a visit by train is possible. Essen station is within walking distance of Robotland.

Arrival @ Robotland

Before you enter the park, you will see our Iron-Man Robot on the left. Ideal for a cool selfie! You will enter Robotland via the small staircase. If this is not easy for you, please ring the bell and an attendant will be happy to assist you. Robotland is fully wheelchair accessible!

Start @ Robotland

Once inside, take the elevator that takes you to the wonderful world of Robotland. Have your vouchers or tickets ready. This ticket will be scanned at the shop checkout. In exchange for the tickets, you will receive Robotland wristbands. Please note! To activate these wristbands, you must first watch a safety video in the cinema. Afterwards, you answer the 5 safety questions and your wristband is activated. Don't panic! You will be assisted with a smile. Also ask about the free lockers!

Lunch @ Robotland

With all that activity, everyone gets a bit hungry or thirsty. In the takeaway restaurant, you will find a wide selection of various tasty items at reasonable prices. Bringing your own lunch is allowed, but only with a cup of soup, a drink, or a snack from Robotland.

Golden Tip! During school holidays, it is usually a bit quieter there from 11:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 onwards. The hot kitchen closes at 4:00 PM.

Fun @ Robotland
