Robotland admission ticket

At this brand-new technology park, you will discover the most innovative transport and robotics technologies of today. All in an interactive way! Get into the cockpit of a flight simulator, cycle through the Grand Canyon in VR, make a drone perform acrobatic stunts in the air, operate a compact loader or a grab crane yourself, or get a robotic arm moving... At Robotland, it is your turn!

Interactivity and fun are central here. So be sure to admire and discover the technology behind the exhibits yourself along six themed routes. The travel guide will provide you with the necessary information at each installation, helping you make the most of your visit.

Some exhibits do require certain safety measures, such as wearing a safety helmet or safety shoes. When necessary, these are provided at the exhibit.

Here is what your day at Robotland looks like:

Transport @ Robotland

Robotland has a spacious, free car park. Please park neatly alongside each other and leave enough space for everyone. Be sure to check whether visiting by train is possible. Essen station is within walking distance of Robotland.

Arrival @ Robotland

Before entering the park, you will see our Iron Man Robot on the left-hand side. Perfect for a cool selfie! A small staircase takes you into Robotland. If this is not convenient for you, ring the bell and an attendant will be happy to help you. Robotland is fully wheelchair accessible!

Start @ Robotland

Once inside, take the lift that takes you to the wonderful world of Robotland. Have your vouchers or tickets ready. Your ticket will be scanned at the shop checkout. In exchange for your tickets, you will receive Robotland wristbands. Please note! To activate these wristbands, you must first watch a safety video in the cinema room. Afterwards, answer the 5 safety questions and your wristband will be activated. No need to worry! You will be helped with a smile. Also ask about the free lockers!

Lunch @ Robotland

All that activity is bound to make everyone a little hungry or thirsty. The takeaway restaurant offers a wide selection of tasty options at affordable prices. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, but only if you also purchase a cup of soup, drink or snack from Robotland.

Top tip! During school holidays, it is usually a little quieter from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm onwards. The hot kitchen closes at 4:00 pm.
