Play and Ice Cream Farm De Drentse Koe in Ruinerwold is an outdoor and indoor playground with a farm theme. They are not only a petting zoo, but also a Play Farm in Drenthe! Children can have a wonderful time playing here and experience the real farm feeling. In the restaurant, they offer an extensive selection of hot and cold drinks, cookies & pastries, filled sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, fries and snacks.

In the outdoor area, you will find various play equipment, bouncy castles, go-karts, pedal tractors, a zip line, a large sand/water play area, a corn maze (July - October) and an animal meadow with donkeys, rabbits, chickens and goats. Children can also play in the heated three-storey play barn. Here you will find a unique play riding school, a construction loft, a climbing and sliding tower, disco dance mat and a glow-in-the-dark ground floor featuring traditional Dutch games and panna football, among other things. Also enjoy an entertaining winter show with Lisa and Loetje at weekends (also on Wednesdays during school holidays).

Come to De Drentse Koe and get (pleasantly) lost in the corn maze. The corn maze at the play farm is the first interactive corn maze in the Netherlands. A unique outdoor play experience in the Netherlands! The 1-hectare corn maze includes an extra game element. During the exciting journey through the cornfield, there are several columns with questions for all ages. Watch it in our video! The corn maze is suitable for young and old alike. Experience it with your whole family at De Drentse Koe. 

The corn maze is fun for all ages. There is a real treasure hunt along the way, during which children answer questions. There is a level for each age category. There is a question for toddlers and preschoolers through to children and (young) adults. Children can pump up the columns in the corn maze using their feet. By generating their own energy, music starts playing. At the end, a question is asked.

There is also a treasure hunt for mums and dads. So you will not be bored and can simply join in with the children. Afterwards, there is a surprise for children who have completed the corn maze.
