Time flies at Aviation Museum Aviodrome! With more than 100 aircraft and helicopters in the collection, you’ll be amazed by the exhibition ‘100 years of aviation in the Netherlands’. See the Wright brothers’ first aircraft and Anthony Fokker’s Fokker Spin, meet Connie (Lockheed Constellation), admire Aunt Ju (Junkers) and other flying legends.

Board our Boeing 747, imagine yourself as a real pilot in the flight simulators and take a look into space: the wonderful world of astronauts. Learn all about fighter jets in the ‘Faster than sound’ exhibition and bring jet engines to life. Walk past the world’s most beautiful and extraordinary fighter jets, including the Netherlands’ very first jet fighter: the Gloster Meteor. Don’t forget to visit the T2 Hangar, where aircraft are being restored.

Ready to fly through the clouds? In the 4D cinema, sharpen all your senses for an exciting flight and even feel rain and cold ocean currents brush past you. Learn how an aircraft works through all kinds of fun experiments set up throughout the museum. Have fun in the various indoor and outdoor playgrounds and take the pilot and flight attendant training course. Put your knowledge and skills to the test and go home with an Aviodrome pilot’s licence!

Getting there

You can park right outside Aviodrome in one of the 500 spaces in car park P2. Disabled parking spaces are also available. The car park is managed by Lelystad Airport. Parking costs €7.50 per day; the first 30 minutes are free. Consult Google Maps for the exact route and current departure and travel times.
