2 hours of climbing at This year, Klimbos Overijssel celebrates a special milestone

Klimbos Overijssel has four challenging courses that guarantee plenty of climbing fun! For both novice and experienced climbers. Climbing is possible from a height of 130 cm. Your admission ticket is valid for 2 hours of climbing, excluding the instruction. After the instruction, you choose which routes you want to climb. The instructor will provide advice, but the choice is yours. If you want to stop climbing earlier, you can return the equipment to the instructor at the front of the forest.

Course 1: The Otter Trail 

The Otter Trail is the lowest climbing course at Klimbos Overijssel. This course is ideal for getting used to the height and the various obstacles, making it particularly suitable for novice climbers.

• Green difficulty level

Course 2: Weerribben Expedition 

On the Weerribben Expedition, you will embark on a real adventure! Take on the challenge of reaching the other side via 14 different obstacles.
During this expedition, you will tackle swinging beams, tree trunks and the duck step, among other things. This course has no fewer than 3 ziplines between the climbing obstacles! In short, plenty of challenge, while still being manageable for novice climbers.

Course 3: Scramble Trail

The Scramble Trail is a route where you scramble over, on or alongside 12 different obstacles. A rolling barrel, parrot poles or a climbing wall… these are just a small selection of the challenges the Scramble Trail has to offer. This course is also one level more difficult than courses 1 and 2.

• Blue difficulty level

Course 4: Bittern Flight

The Bittern Flight is the final climbing route and also the most difficult. This route, featuring 12 obstacles, provides the ultimate adrenaline rush. Via the Monkey Bars and balance ropes, among other things, you will reach the longest zipline. You then fly through the climbing forest back to the start on this 131-metre zipline. Do you dare to take on the adventure?

Play area for the youngest adventurers 

For children who are not yet tall enough to climb, we have set up some climbing equipment and a zip wire. It is free of charge and does not need to be booked. This is not a children's climbing forest, so children do not need a harness or helmet.

The Legend of the Lost Climbers: 10 Years of Darkness in Paasloo

This year, Klimbos Overijssel celebrates a special milestone: its tenth anniversary! For all those years, laughter and cheers have echoed among the trees, but after sunset, something dark hangs over the forest. Since opening in Paasloo, climbers have disappeared and never been found. Only their helmets and harnesses were left behind.

For a long time, the team thought the climbers had lost their way. Until voices began to sound from the treetops. They whisper, call for help and warn of something that has been hiding among the branches for ten years.

During this nighttime mission, visitors take on the challenge of braving the climbing routes, following the voices and discovering what happened to the missing climbers. Are they lost in the darkness, or is something inhuman present in the forest?
